The Retreat offers amazing accommodation options for patrons. Are you planning to visit Easy Street Retreat for a weekend away from all your troubles, there is not one but two great accommodation options available for you with either of them promising you a home away from home experience that will make your time there truly memorable in every respect.
Cumquat Cabin
The cabin is surrounded with lush vegetation and only about 100 metres from the Bellinger River, and a deep swimming hole, Cumquat Cabin is a fully self-contained, comfortable and a very affordable option for those wishing to save on accommodation costs. Cumquat Cabin forms half of a larger complex of two self-contained cabins, one of which is occupied on a permanent basis.
If you’ve ever wanted to see a platypus in the wild, here’s your chance! A local farming identity will take you on a platypus spotting expedition of about 1 hour’s duration. A fantastic opportunity to see these shy and endearing creatures! No platypus – no pay policy.

River Cabin
From this cabin, you will get a clear view of the stunning Bellinger river, and further ahead, there is the National Park. The cabin is equipped with polished hardwood floors, air conditioning, a covered veranda that comes with comfy seating, luxurious cotton linen, modern and antique furniture, and many more. You can see the river from every room, and there is a free-standing studio where you can relax.
